Terms of use

These terms apply when you use socioping.com, create an account, join the waitlist, sign up for an event or buy a ticket. By doing any of those, you agree to them. Our Privacy policy and Refund policy are part of these terms.

Who we are

socioping.com is run by SocioPing Networks (OPC) Private Limited, a company registered in India (CIN U63122KA2026OPC223817) with its registered office at 17 Northern Side, Valagere Halli, Kengeri, Bangalore South, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560060. "SocioPing", "we" and "us" mean the company.

Who can use this

You must be 18 or older to create an account, join the waitlist, sign up for an event or buy a ticket. Some events have a higher entry age set by the venue, often 21 where alcohol is served. The event shows its entry age before you sign up, and the venue checks photo ID at the door. If you can't show valid ID, the venue can refuse entry.

Your account

  • One account per person. Use your own email or Google account.
  • We send a one-time code to your email when you log in. Don't share it with anyone. We'll never ask you for it.
  • Keep your email account secure, because whoever controls it can log in to SocioPing.
  • You can delete your account any time from your account page. Records we must keep by law, like payments, stay as described in the Privacy policy.
  • We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, for example by using bots or someone else's identity.

Using the website

Please don't:

  • sign up other people without asking them
  • try to hack, overload or scrape the site, or get around its limits
  • use bots or scripts to grab spots or tickets
  • pretend to be someone else

We may block access and cancel signups or tickets linked to any of this.

First access, RSVPs and tickets

  • First access means we tell you before tickets or spots open. It doesn't reserve a spot or a ticket.
  • RSVPs for free events hold a spot while places last. If you can't make it, cancel from your account page so someone else can go.
  • Tickets live in your account and show a QR code that changes every 30 seconds. A screenshot won't work at the door, so open it when you arrive.
  • Each ticket lets one person in, once. A Squad order is four tickets.
  • Don't resell tickets for more than you paid. Buy only from socioping.com. We can't help with tickets bought anywhere else.
  • The price you see at checkout is the full price, including any taxes.

Events

  • Event details like the start time or lineup can change. If the date or venue changes, we'll email you, and if the new plan doesn't work for you on a paid event, you get a full refund.
  • Each event lists its own timings, entry age and house rules. Please follow them.

Clubs and venues

  • SocioPing organises the event and books the venue. The venue runs its own bar, kitchen, security and entry checks.
  • SocioPing doesn't sell or serve alcohol, and ticket prices never include it. Anything you buy at the venue is between you and the venue.
  • The venue's rules apply on top of ours, including its entry age, ID checks, dress code and right to refuse entry.
  • Never buy drinks for anyone under the legal drinking age. Don't drink and drive. We'll happily help you book a cab home.

At the event

We want everyone to feel safe and have a good time. So:

  • Respect people. No harassment, no touching without consent, no hate speech, no threats.
  • No illegal drugs, weapons or anything dangerous.
  • Follow instructions from our team and the venue staff.
  • Don't damage the venue. If you do, you may have to pay for it.
  • Look after your things. We're not responsible for anything lost or stolen unless it was our fault.

We or the venue can refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who breaks these rules, without a refund. If anything makes you feel unsafe, tell someone from the SocioPing team right away.

Photos and videos

We may take photos and videos at our events and share them on our website and social media. If you'd rather not be in them, tell us at the door and we'll keep you out of what we post. If you spot yourself in something we posted and want it gone, email support@socioping.com and we'll take it down within 48 hours.

Liability

  • We plan every event carefully, but nights out and crowds come with everyday risks, and coming is your choice.
  • As far as the law allows, our total liability to you for an event or ticket is limited to what you paid for it.
  • Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't let us limit, such as for fraud, or for death or injury caused by our negligence.
  • Nothing here takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

If something goes wrong

Email support@socioping.com first. We'd rather fix it. If you're still not happy, write to our Grievance Officer (details on the Contact page).

These terms are governed by Indian law. Subject to your rights under consumer protection law, the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we'll ask you to agree again the next time you log in. Changes won't apply to tickets you've already bought unless the law requires it.
